What is a Backyard Genius?

Anyone in the community who creates inventions out of necessity and who deserve to be recognized for giving of themselves so that others may have more.

If you or someone else you know is a worthy to be called a Backyard Genius, please fill out the appropriate release form (Are you a minor? Use this form instead) and send us your information by email or snail mail.  We’ll put your clip on our website and with enough votes we will be racing to your town!

Please include:

  1. A Clean Photo of the Invention

  2. 1-2 minute video link from YouTube about:

    1.  Why the invention was created?

    2.  How it works?

    3.  How it impacts society in a positive way?

    4.  Why people should vote for you or someone else you know?

The Inventors Roundtable is a free, safe environment where inventors learn how to protect their inventions and how to get their inventions to market. Service providers, by invitation only, donate their time to the inventors once a month. In addition, experienced and successful inventors mentor those inventors just getting started.
